Yolanda M. Parisi

Parisi, Yolanda Mary, 90, of Merchantville, NJ, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017. She was born in 1926, in Philadelphia, PA. Mrs. Parisi was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Pasquale; son Joseph; 6 sisters, and 5 brothers. She is survived by her children, Dolores Matern and husband Bruce, Robert Parisi, Carol Ross and husband Michael, daughter-in-Law Janet Margraf and husband John, John Parisi and wife Marie, Fran Gallagher and husband Jim, Stephen Parisi and wife Cathi, brother-in-law John Giannini, sister-in-law Marie Amendolia, and numerous nieces and nephews. Yolanda is also survived by her 15 cherished grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Yolanda had many accomplishments in her long life. Primarily a homemaker, she was also a talented artist and highly skilled seamstress, creating countless quilts, wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses, formal outfits, and Halloween costumes. Formidable at cards and Scrabble, she also played the piano, enjoyed baking for her family, and loved visiting the beach. In her younger years, she loved to dance, swim, and run track. Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass at St Vincent Pallotti on Thursday, July 13, 2017, at 10:00am, followed by Interment at New Saint Mary’s Cemetery, 515 West Browning Road, Bellmawr, NJ 08031.
