Scott ‘s obituary: 

Scott DeAngelo DeThomas, 23, passed away on August 16, 2024. Born on August 24, 2000, in Haddon Heights, NJ, Scott was a beloved son, brother, father, grandson, nephew, boyfriend, and friend. Having lived in Lakeland, FL during elementary and high school, Scott was a graduate of Polk State Gateway to College Colligate High School. He most recently lived in Elizabethtown, NC. Scott developed a deep connection with nature, both through his work as a landscaper and his love for spending time by the lake fishing with his sons.

Survived by his loving parents, Bill and Veronica DeThomas; his cherished sons, Colton and Jackson; and his siblings, Gianna, Nikalena and Patrick, Scott is also survived by his devoted girlfriend, Rachel Kirk, who brought so much love and happiness into his life. He also leaves behind his Uncle Dan Bellamah; grandparents Joe (Lori) DeAngelo and Lu (Jack) Starr; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever remember his kind heart, infectious smile, and goofy laugh.

He was preceded in death by his beloved aunt, Jackie DeAngelo; his grandfather, Patrick DeThomas; and several other beloved family members. 

A celebration of Scott’s life will be held on August 28, 2024, starting at 4:00 PM at the Sons of Italy, located at 6 W Atlantic Ave, Haddon Heights, NJ. All those who knew and loved Scott are invited to attend and share in remembering the love and laughter he brought to their lives.
