Rufino Cortes Colon

Rufino Cortes Colon, a beloved soul cherished by many, passed away on April 21, 2024, in the comfort of his home in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was born July 10, 1934, in the beautiful land of Puerto Rico.

Rufino's life will be celebrated during a Visitation service at Saint Ambrose Church at 401 E Rooselvelt Blvd in Philadelphia on May 3, 2024. The gathering will commence at 9;00 AM and conclude at 10:30 AM to honor his memory and offer support to his mourning loved ones. Following the Visitation, Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 am at Saint Ambrose Church.   Burial ceremony will be immediately following mass.  Rufino will be laid to rest at Greenmount Cemetery, located at 4301 N Front St, Philadelphia, at 12:30 PM.

Rufino was known for his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love for his family and friends. His legacy lives on through those who had the privilege of knowing him during his remarkable journey through life.

He is survived by his devoted family members who will continue to cherish his memory. Though Rufino may have departed from this world, the love and joy he brought to others will forever remain in the hearts of those who were touched by his presence.

In honoring Rufino's life, let us remember the warmth he shared with everyone around him and the love that will continue to inspire those who knew him. May his soul rest in eternal peace as we treasure the moments we were blessed to spend with him.
