Robert Joseph Balfe, Sr., aged 64, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on August 3, 2022.
Bob was born on September 22, 1957 in Philadelphia, PA. After graduating from Northeast Catholic High School, Bob went on to study Finance and Accounting at Drexel University.
Bob cherished his time on the railroad with Conrail. He also had a fondness of horses.
Beloved father of Robert Balfe, Jr. and Ryan Balfe (Adrienne). Dearest brother of Debora Apice. Bob is also survived by nephews Michael Balfe and Joseph Balfe and niece Lauren McAllister (Dominic). Devoted life partner of AnnMarie Skahan and stepfather to Kelly, Casi and Matthew. Predeceased by his parents, Robert Balfe and Mary Balfe (nee Archie) and brother, Michael "Ralph" Balfe. He will be lovingly missed by many extended family members and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Viewing and Funeral Mass on Friday, August 12 from 9:00AM-10:00AM in Holy Innocents Parish in Philadelphia. Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
