Pastora Carmen Quiles

Carmen Quiles, a woman of faith, a leader, and pastor, peacefully passed away at her late residence on Wednesday October 18, 2023 surounded by those who loved her, in Philadelphia, PA.

Born on September 2, 1940, in Comerio, Puerto Rico.

Throughout her life, Carmen touched the lives of countless individuals with her unwavering dedication to her faith and her infectious sense of humor. She embodied kindness, compassion, and strength in all that she did.

To honor Carmen's memory and celebrate her remarkable life, visitation services will be held at the House of Prayer Church 2059 Orthodox Street in Philadelphia, PA. The visitation will take place on October 25, 2023, starting at 10:00 AM and concluding at noon. Family members, friends, and members of the community will have the opportunity to pay their respects and share cherished memories of Carmen during this time.

Following the visitation, a prayer service will be held at the House of Prayer Church from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM. This service will provide solace and comfort as loved ones come together to remember Carmen's unwavering faith and seek strength during this challenging time.

Carmen will be laid to rest at Greenmount Cemetery 4301 North Front Street in Philadelphia. The burial ceremony is scheduled for October 25, 2023, with the service starting at 1:30 PM and concluding at 2:00 PM.

Carmen's presence in our lives will always be cherished. Her words of wisdom and humorous anecdotes brought joyous moments to those who were fortunate enough to know her. She leaves behind a legacy filled with love, laughter, and inspiration.
