Norah Edith Valle Esponda

Norah Edith Valle Esponda, a beloved member of the Philadelphia community, passed away on October 3, 2023. She was born on October 29, 1952 in Aguadilla Puerto Rico. Norah will always be remembered for her funny and kind personality, as well as her unwavering love for her family.

Norah's life will be celebrated through two meaningful events. The first event is a visitation, which will take place at the Compagnola Funeral Home on 5th St. in Philadelphia on October 13, 2023. The visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and end at 12:00 PM. This will be an opportunity for friends and family to come together and honor Norah's memory.

Following the visitation, a burial service will be held at Greenmount Cemetery in Philadelphia. Starting at 12:30 PM and ending at 1:30 PM on the same day, this solemn ceremony will provide closure as Norah is laid to rest.

Norah's warm presence touched the lives of many, but none more so than her surviving family and friends. She was a loving partner of Victor Vega for over 30 years. Norah is also survived by her sister Mildred Grace Ramos, her sister Wanda Ivette Valle, her sister Madeline Valle, and her brother Jose Manuel Valle.

In addition to her siblings, Norah leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who adored her deeply. They include Angel Ramos III, Paul Hobert Armstrong IV, Kyle Oscar Armstrong, Milan Briana Jones, Andres Arturo Ramos, Kayla Jasmine Sagardia, Angela Jamile Sagardia, Brandon Lawson, Raul Lawson, Jayla Ray, Nathan Cotto, Jason Valle, John Valle, Angel Ramos IV, Alexander Johnson and Cameron Nelida Ramos are some who had the privilege of being part of Norah's vibrant life.

Norah was preceded in death by her parents, Ofelia Esponda and Manuel Valle. They undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms into the embrace of eternity.

Norah Edith Valle Esponda will be remembered as a beacon of light, bringing joy and laughter to those around her. Her caring nature and love for her family will forever hold a special place in our hearts. May she find eternal peace and may her memory live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
