Migdalia “Dalia” Cecelia Agront was born June 12, 1944 to Juan “Harry” E. Agront (deceased); Flora Agront (deceased) in Salinas, Puerto Rico, Migdalia was the second of eight (8) children, four brothers and three sisters. The family moved to Philadelphia, PA in 1952 were Migdalia’s parents expanded their family, adding nine (9) more siblings, eight brothers and one sister.
Migdalia married Jaime Roman Natal (deceased) in 1961 and they had 4 children, twins, Migdalia “Miggie” T. Natal Turner (decease), Magdalena “Maggie” Natal Fennal, Rosemary “Rosie” Natal and Jaime “June” Natal. Migdalia was bless with nine (9) Grandchildren and three (3) Great grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Migdalia worked as a seamstress while raising her children. When she divorced, she and her children moved to Camden, NJ where she was a teacher’s aide until 1979. Due to illness Migdalia moved back to Philadelphia around 1984 to be closer with family, here she became involved in her Church and Community. Migdalia was loved by so many people, she enjoyed life, loved a good party, a backyard picnic, celebrating with her family and even loved the Casino’s, taking trips to AC whenever possible. Those who were close to her, children and even adults, referred to her as “Mom or “Titi”. Migdalia was a role model, a strong, caring, compassionate and independent woman, who wouldn’t
hesitate to give hugs & kisses to everyone, always replying with “Love You More”.
Migdalia was a woman of faith, sharing her belief with those who would listen. She enjoyed reading her Bible, going to church and loved listening to Christian music. Migdalia’s strong belief in God brought her through some very difficult times but through it all, she smiled constantly, knowing she was love.
We will miss you Mom, we take comfort knowing you are with Miggie and thankful for all the beautiful memories you have left us. We know this is not goodbye but until we see you again in heaven.
