Luis Antonio Figueroa

We regret to announce the passing of Luis Antonio Figueroa, of the Fairhill section of Philadelphia. A devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather, who passed away Wednesday August 7, 2024 at the age of 85 years old. Surrounded by family and friends.

 He is survived by his daughters Elba Figueroa - Rivera and Daisy Figueroa (Angel Hernandez). Grandfather to Laura M. Williams (Jacob Williams), Jocelyn Berrios, Sergio Vazquez, Luis Angel Lugardo (Nengie Casquio Lugardo), Héctor Pérez and Armani Vazquez. Great Grandfather to Kaleb Williams, Nickalas Vazquez, Adrian Vazquez, Dalila Vazquez, Demi Vazquez, Armani Vazquez Jr., Lorraine Casquio Lugardo, Selena Reyes, Nyla Rojas and Chassity Rojas.

Our dad was a man of diverse talents including bicycle repairs, guitar playing, house painting, cooking and reading his cowboy novels. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles. Our father Luis Antonio Figueroa exemplified exceptional warmth and generosity through family ties. He was our pilar, our warrior and hero, embodying unconditional love and compassion for all living beings. His life was filled with love, laughter, and life, he accepted his illness without complaint. He will forever be remembered to know that he was loved and will forever live on through his daughters, grandchildren and great - grandchildren. 

Relative and friends are called to visitation hours Friday evening August 16, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Compagnola Funeral Home 4405 N. 5th St. Philadelphia, PA, 19140.

A final visitation will be held Saturday August 17, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Compagnola Funeral Home  (Same Location). 

Interment will be held Immediately after the service at Holy Cross Cemetery 626 Baily Rd, Yeadon, PA, 19050.
