Luis Alberto Negron Jr., also known as Junito, born on March 5, 1975, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away on February 7, 2025, surrounded by the city that he loved so dearly. Known affectionately as “Junito,” he was a devoted family man and a passionate sports enthusiast, who cherished every moment spent with his loved ones.
Luis spent his life dedicated to hard work, embodying a strong work ethic that inspired those around him. He had an unforgettable spirit, filled with warmth and kindness, leaving an indelible mark on the lives he touched throughout his journey.
He is survived by his beloved mother, Elizabeth Chole-Marquez, and his father, Luis Angel Negron Rivera. Luis was a cherished brother to Moses Torres-Marquez, Raymond Lopez, and Liza Lopez, and a loving uncle to his nephew, Elijah Torres-Marquez. Additionally, he leaves behind a devoted aunt, Jasinta, and extended family, which includes Raymond Lopez Jr., Ray Ray Lopez, Lisette Lopez, and Joey Mclellan, along with numerous cousins and other relatives who will miss him greatly.
Luis's life will be honored with a visitation held at Compagnola Funeral Home located at 4405-07 North 5th St., Philadelphia, PA, on February 15, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a burial service at Chelten Hills Cemetery 1701 Washington Ln., Philadelphia, PA, 19138, at 12:00 PM.
