It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lizeth Murillo Ozuna and her daughter, Valentina Guzman Murillo, whose lives were tragically cut short in a plane crash in Philadelphia, PA, on January 31, 2025. Born in Mexico, Lizeth was a beacon of warmth and joy, her radiant smile lighting up the rooms of all who had the privilege to know her. As a loving mother, she poured her heart into ensuring Valentina's happiness, cherishing every moment they spent together.

Valentina, a brave and spirited young girl, faced the challenges of a lifelong disease with remarkable courage. Thanks to the unwavering dedication of the best doctors and nurses at Shriners Hospital in Philadelphia, she had embraced her newfound health and was blooming into a beautiful soul full of dreams and laughter, inspired by her mother’s relentless love and support.

Their bond was one of exceptional strength, marked by shared laughs, deep conversations, and countless memories, illustrating the power of a mother's love. Lisbeth embodied happiness; her nurturing spirit amplified Valentina's vibrant energy, and together they created an infectious atmosphere of love that uplifted everyone around them.

Gone but never forgotten, Lizeth and Valentina leave behind a legacy of smiles and cherished moments that will live on in the hearts of those who knew them. Their lives, though brief, were filled with an abundance of love and joy. As family, friends and community mourn their loss, we hold tight to the beautiful memories and the impact they had on our lives.

Lizeth and Valentina will be laid to rest at a later date in their homeland of Mexico.
