Isabel M. Mora Lugo

Isabel M. Mora Lugo, a treasured matriarch and a beloved figure within her family, peacefully passed away on Thursday October 24, 2024 at the age of 81 in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. 

Born on April 27, 1943, in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. Daughter of the late Mr. Andres Mora and Mrs. Antonia Lugo Lugo.

Isabel lived a life rich with love, laughter, and unwavering faith, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished her family and friends.

Isabel known for her warm spirit, whose funny and lovable personality endeared her to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her devotion to her family was profound, as she dedicated her life to nurturing those around her. Isabel is survived by her loving children, Maribel Vargas, Luis Vargas, and Carlos Vargas. She also played a significant role in the lives of her grandchildren, whom she lovingly raised: Vilmarie Torres, Edgardo Torres, Cydmarie Torres, Jean Torres, and Bryan Torres. Additionally, her legacy extends through her numerous grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, who will fondly remember the many beautiful moments shared with her. She is preceded in death by her lovingly husband Mr. Carlos Vargas. 

Isabel's journey of faith was integral to her character, and she lived her life as a testament to her beliefs, fostering love, kindness, and connection within her family and community.

Isabel’s Life Celebration service will be held on Sunday November 3, 2024, from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM at La Primera Iglesia Cristiana Misionera, located at 4236 Whitaker Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19124, followed by a Celebration of Life that same evening starting at 7:30 PM. 

A further visitation is scheduled for Monday November 4, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM,

 Interment will be held at Colestown Cemetery, 100 Kings Hwy N, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034, Monday November 4, 2024 at 12:00 PM.

Isabel M. Mora Lugo will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched with her warmth, laughter, and love.
