Flor Maria Ramirez, affectionately known as “Maria Pinchos”, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on Tuesday April 30, 2024. Flor’s passing left a profound impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She can be described as funny, hard working, and incredibly helpful. Flor's kindness and work ethic were truly unmatched.
Born on May 4, 1941 to the late Juan Ramirez Torres and the late Margarita Torres, in San German, Puerto Rico.
Known for selling pinchos on C St and Allegheny Ave, Flor brought joy to those around her with her delicious treats and infectious laughter.
Memories to be cherished by her loving children Florence (Miguel), Marilyn (Lonnie), Richard (Kathy), Wanda (Franklin), and Edward (Mayra). Her legacy extends further through her 22 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren whom she adored dearly. In addition, to her descendants she will be truly missed by a series of nieces and nephews.
Flor is preceded in death by her two children Robert and Wilfred, her spouse, Roberto Beauchamp, and all eight of her siblings.
The services to honor Flor Ramirez's life will take place on Tuesday May 7, 2024. Visitation hours are set to begin at 10:00 AM followed by a Prayer Service at 12:00 PM at Compagnola Funeral Home located at 4405 North 5th St, Philadelphia, PA, 19140.
The burial will take place at Greenmount Cemetery 4301 North Front St, Philadelphia, PA, 19140. at 2:00 PM.
The family invites all to share and celebrate those memorable memories at a luncheon immediately after the burial at the De’ Vault Hall 5653 N 5th St, Philadelphia, PA, 19120.
