Crispina Santiago

Crispina Santiago, affectionately known as Pina, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2023, at her home in Philadelphia, PA. She was surrounded by her loved ones during her final moments.

Born on September 2, 1931, in San Sebastián, Puerto Rico, Pina brought joy and laughter to all those fortunate enough to know her. Her vivacious spirit and contagious smile could light up any room. Pina had an undeniable zest for life that was truly infectious.

Pina will be remembered as a funny, outgoing, and lovable woman of faith. Her joyful nature never wavered, even in the face of life's challenges. She had the incredible ability to make everyone around her feel loved and cherished. Pina's positivity touched the hearts of countless individuals throughout her lifetime.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at a visitation service held on October 2, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Compagnola Funeral Home-5th St., located at 4405-07 North 5th St., Philadelphia PA, 19140. A prayer service will follow the visitation from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location.

Additional visitation services will take place on October 3, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM also at Compagnola Funeral Home-5th St. The burial ceremony will be held at Greenmount Cemetery in Philadelphia at noon.

Pina's unwavering faith played a crucial role in her life. She drew strength from her spiritual beliefs and was always there to support and uplift others through their own journeys of faith. Her love for God radiated through every action she took and every word she spoke.

Pina is survived by her beloved family members and friends who will continue to carry her memory in their hearts. Although she may no longer be physically present, her spirit will forever live on through the many lives she touched.
