Brandon Ivan Serrano - Steimling

Brandon, age 28, of Philadelphia, PA, suddenly passed away on Wednesday July 5, 2023.

Born on July 20, 1994 in Philadelphia, PA to  Ivan Serrano and Dawn Steimling.

Brandon has a smile that lights up a room. He has a way of always smiling even when he’s hurting. From the moment he started walking Brandon was a thrill seeker, always on the lookout for adventure. If he saw something that interested him he would learn how to do it and gave it all he had. He never backed down and always took care of those around him. Brandon has a way of making everyone feel seen. From random visits at any given hour of the day to text messages and phone calls. He made sure you knew you were loved and he was thinking of you. Brandon has a passion for life, for learning and for family and if you are his friend he makes you family. 

Brandon will be greatly missed, joining his mother, Dawn Steimling in heaven. He is survived by his children, Annalee, Amaris, Athena and Immanuel. Brandon is also survived by his Father, Ivan Serrano and wife, Nelly Serrano. His many siblings Reinaldo I. Serrano, Francisco Jimenez, Diana Serrano, Dawn Guzman, Eric Santiago, Edgar Serrano, Thomas Serrano, Destiny Serrano, Ivan Serrano, Carmen Serrano, Jose Serrano and Isabella McGregor. He is remembered by Maria Gonzalez, who lovingly refers to him as the son of her heart. Melanie Aldarondo, Jasmine Morales, Melanie Vazquez, and Ashley Guzman.

Family and friends are called to visitation hours Thursday evening July 20, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Compagnola Funeral home 4405 North 5th Street Philadelphia, PA 19140.

A final Viewing will be held Friday morning July 21, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at the Compagnola Funeral Home 4405 North 5th street Philadelphia, PA 19140.

Interment will be held at Greenmount Cemetery 4301 North Front Street Philadelphia, PA 19140 on Friday July 21, 2023 at 12:15 pm.

Brandon, life will never be the same without you baby boy. Fly high, we’ll see you on the other side. No more tears, no more bad dreams, you’re finally free.
