Ana Alvarado, born on September 25, 1938, in Vieques, Puerto Rico, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2025, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, surrounded by her loving family. Her life was marked by warmth, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to those she loved.

Ana's journey through life was rich with experiences that shaped her into the beloved individual she became. She touched the lives of many with her generous spirit and her ability to make everyone feel welcomed and cherished. Known for her nurturing demeanor, Ana built strong bonds with her family and friends, creating a legacy of love that will resonate for generations to come.

Her departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who knew her, but her spirit will forever remain a guiding light. To celebrate her life, a visitation will be held on April 9, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Compagnola Funeral Home located at 4405-07 North 5th St., Philadelphia, PA 19140. Following the visitation, a burial service will take place at Greenmount Cemetery at 4301 N Front St., Philadelphia, PA 19140, commencing at 2:00 PM.

Ana Alvarado will be profoundly missed but will be remembered for her gracious spirit and the love she imparted to those around her.
