Alejandra Martinez Rodriguez, a cherished mother and beloved member of her community, peacefully passed away on February 17, 2025, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Born on December 27, 1939, in Puerto Rico, Alejandra’s journey through life was marked by her loving and motherly spirit, which touched the hearts of all who knew her.

Alejandra is lovingly remembered by her seven devoted children: Yaraliz Pérez, Carmen Lydia Farooq, Lisandra Pérez, Gilberto Miranda, Aida Luz Miranda, Sol Beatriz Pérez, and Yolanda Aviles. Each of her children carries forward her enduring legacy of love, strength, and compassion.

Her presence will be profoundly missed, yet her spirit will continue to live on in the memories and stories shared by her family and friends. She has left an indelible mark on the lives of those she has touched throughout her lifetime.

The services honoring Alejandra's life will be held at Compagnola Funeral Home located at 4405-07 North 5th St., Philadelphia, PA 19140. A visitation is scheduled for February 25, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a prayer service at 11:00 AM. The burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery, located at 4301 N Front St., Philadelphia, PA 19140, starting at 12:30 PM.
